The Mascoutin Society of Chicagoland is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting Native Cultures. The Winter Benefit Dance is the Mascoutin Society's primary fundraiser of the year. The Money collected at this dance is used for many worthwhile causes. Each summer the Society sponsors its free O Sa Wan Powwow in the Chicagoland area.

In addition, the Mascoutin Society aids Native American students with its Grant-in-aid fund and Annual Scholarship. Additional money collected by the Society goes toward local and national Native American organizations to help with their efforts.

Directions to Oak Park-River Forest High School
OPRF HS is located at the corner of Scoville Ave. and Lake St. in Oak Park, IL. Scoville Ave. is 2 blocks WEST of Ridgeland Ave, the best North-South route through Oak Park. From the North: I-294 South (East) to Irving Park Rd. Irving Park east to River Rd. River Rd. South (take the `cutoff') to First Ave. South to Chicago Ave, then East on Oak Park Ave. Scoville is 3 blocks east of Oak Park Ave. Turn south to the school From the West: I-290 East (Eisenhower) to Austin. North on Austin to Lake St. Turn left (west) to second stoplight- Ridgeland Ave. North on Ridgeland to the first left, then 2 blocks to the school. From the South: Link to I-290 and follow the above directions From the East: I-90 (Dan Ryan) to I-290 Westbound.
