Lakota Lesson 2

I am student taking Lakota language classes. My intentions are to share with you my lessons on a regular basis(at least once a month depending on response). As a novice I practice writing webpages and my Lakota language lessons. Please do not consider anything written as absolute. Mistakes made are out of not knowing better html or a student learning Lakota language.
Some of my family members speak Lakota but do not write it. They learned while growing up on the Pine Ridge Reservation in southwestern South Dakota.
With this let us begin: The Lakota language is spoken differently by each of the genders female speakers talk differently than male speakers. I will attempt to differianiate by enclosing gender variations in parenthesis as follows:
